Unable to clear this button task. Not sure why?

Question

The challenge says: add a submit button with the text - Place order.

This is my code:

<form action="index.html" method="post"> <h1>Shirt Order Form</h1> <label for="color">Shirt color:</label> <select id="color" name="shirt_color"> <option value="red">Red</option> <option value="yellow">Yellow</option> <option value="purple">Purple</option> <option value="blue">Blue</option> <option value="green">Green</option> <option value="orange">Orange</option> <button type="submit">Place Order</button> </form>

But it is not working. Can someone tell me what am I doing wrong?

Hi smriti,

You're close! You just need to close the select tag before you write the code for the button.

</select>
        <button type="submit">Place Order</button>
