CSS CSS Basics (2014) Enhancing the Design With CSS Gradients

unable to set gradient from bottom to top

I'm not sure of what I'm doing wrong here. If you're to reposition the gradient to start from the bottom, wouldn't the keyword be "to bottom" followed by the colors separated by a comma. I'm a little confused. If someone could look at my code and help me fix it. I would appreciate it.

Thanks

It looks like you have two issues:

  • you need a comma between the direction and the color
  • your direction is going the wrong way, you need "to top" instead

You are missing your comma after the direction

.main-header {
 background-image: linear-gradient(to bottom, steelblue, darkslateblue 90%);
}
