PHP PHP Arrays and Control Structures PHP Loops For Looping

Use isset on for loop to see if the incremented value matches the key and show the value of it (Task 2 of 2)

Task 1 of 2 asks on for loop to display 1 to 100. Done Task 2 of 2 asks for displaying the incremented value when the key matched it using isset.

Issue: Another confusing question. Site source: https://teamtreehouse.com/library/php-arrays-and-control-structures/php-loops/for-looping

Attempt:

//because task 1 of 2 started off on displaying 1 to 100
for ( $i = 1; $i <= 100; $i++ ){
 //I checked to see if the key of the $facts array matches the incremented value
  if(isset($facts[$i])) {
    echo $facts[$i]; // if so, display the value of that key
  }
}

Advise.

$facts = array(
    57 => ' on Heinz ketchup bottles represents the number of varieties of pickles the company once had.',
    2 => ' is the approximate hours a day Giraffes sleeps',
    18 => ' is the average hours a Python sleeps per day',
    10 => ' per cent of the world is left-handed.',
    11 => ' Empire State Buildings, stacked one on top of the other, would be required to measure the Gulf of Mexico at its deepest point.',
    98 => '% of the atoms in your body are replaced every year',
    69 => ' is the largest number of recorded children born to one woman',
);

Hello John , The task Two in this challenge want you to search in array if you see key in array number equals to number in the loop echo the value of it's key you must not delete echo $i ; after finish the first task !

Great.

Hi John,

It looks like you took out the code from task 1.

You still need to print all the numbers, and optionally print a fact after the number if there's a fact for that number.

The beginning of the output should be something like:

12 is the approximate hours a day Giraffes sleeps34567...

Thanks Jason.

This quiz is confusing. It's not clear from the wording what is expected. Do they want all numbers to print, or only the numbers if they have the key.

I had a solution that printed all numbers, and if the isset() was true, it printed the number and text...

1 2 3 a long time ago 4 5 something blue

This failed, and I am not clear about what the goal output is.

It turns out they didn't want any spaces. A little quirky, if you ask me.
