Using my own text editor?

I would like to start using my own text editor so that I can keep useful bits of code for future reference. I downloaded the files under the video and downloaded Sublime but am not sure what to do from here.

How do I open up the working files in Sublime? Is there a good video somewhere that can show me how to do this? Is there a better option for me?

Thanks

Try extracting your files to a folder, then using the "open folder..." option in Sublime. Navigate to the folder containing your extracted files and click 'Open'. This will show all the files in that folder in the left hand pane in Sublime.
