Looks like you accidentally attempted to call the data property on this section of code:

# Drop the parentheses
order=form.order.data()

Your code should run after that, though you'll need to drop the redirect as the challenge expects a 200 response instead of a 300 (just let it fall through to the return).

I tried

@app.route('/order', methods=('GET', 'POST'))
def order_lunch():
    form = forms.LunchOrderForm()
    if form.validate_on_submit():
        models.LunchOrder.create(user=g.user._get_current_object())
        flash("Message posted! Thanks!", "success")
        return redirect(url_for('index'))
    return render_template('lunch.html', form=form)

still no luck

You still need the other arguments, you just can't have the parentheses after the order one:

models.LunchOrder.create(user=g.user._get_current_object(), order=form.order.data, date=form.date.data)

And this line will still need to be removed:

return redirect(url_for('index'))

Since that will cause a 300 response.
