This is the Code Challenge Task 2:
OK, now let's handle the racecar running laps. Add a laps
attribute to the RaceCar
class and set it to 0. Add a method named run_lap
. It'll take a length
argument. It should reduce the fuel_remaining
attribute by the length
argument multiplied by 0.125 (length * 0.125
). Also, increment the laps
attribute by 1 each time the run_lap
method is called.
I got task 1 right, which involves creating the class and typing the whole __init__
part upto the setattr()
bit
I have tried running this code in the REPL and it works fine, but when I check my work in the challenge, it says "Bummer: Try again" repeatedly. I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong.
Any help is appreciated!

3,087 PointsNevermind, I just came back after a break to check my code, and found the error: I used the method name as run_laps
instead of run_lap
, which was why it didnt work out.
