For some reason I keep getting the wrong answer, with no explanation for why it's wrong (the preview doesn't work). I have assigned a sliced version of the list to a variable already, and added a start of 2, and a stop of 6. If there is a given start and stop value, it reveals the elements in between. Why is it wrong, and do I need to add another colon?
student_gpas = [4.0, 2.3, 3.5, 3.7, 3.9, 2.8, 1.5, 4.0]
sliced_gpas = student_gpas[2:6]
print(sliced_gpas)

Treehouse TeacherHi there, Luke Tate! First, you don't need the print statement. Your slice is almost there, however, the 6 is incorrect. The fifth element resides at an index of 4. You are currently getting all gpas up to and including the one at the fifth index.
You will need to change 6 to 5. This will go up to the gpa at the fifth index, but not include it. So the last one will be the gpa at the index of 4, which is the fifth element.
