What are the two positional arguments referred to in this Error message?

I'm trying to learn from my Error messages, but don't understand this. Thanks

first_class.py 
class Student:
    name = "Your Name"

    def praise(self):
        return "You inspire me, {}".format(self.name)

    def reassurance(self):
        return "Chin up, {}. You'll get it next time!".format(self.name)

    def feedback(grade):
        if int(grade) > 50:
            praise(self)
        elif int(grade) <= 50:
            reassurance(self)

The system always provides "self" as the first argument to an instance method. Yet the function here is only defined to take one argument but it gets called with two.
