7,418 PointsI think officially CSS stands for Cascading Style Sheets. I think the reason for the plural might be the fact that you can have multiple stylesheets for a single web page. Just my thought though.

Jason Anders
Treehouse Moderator 145,860 PointsHi Matt Ryker (and Tim Robinson)
Why is it "kind of silly" to not accept an incorrect answer??
How would this be proper and responsible teaching by Treehouse? "Cascading Style Sheet" is not what CSS stands for; therefore, this answer is not (and should not) be accepted as correct.

8,900 PointsHi Jason Anders,
You are right, it wouldn't be the proper and responsible way to teach the material if they excepted an answer that wasn't 100% correct. I have edited my answer to remove my previous comment. Thank you for your input and making me think differently to improve my future answers.
Thank you, Matt
