What does the .format and {}! this do again?

Not sure why Craig uses it in the video and what it does.

Hi Vincent,

That syntax takes the arguments passed into format(), and substitutes the {} placeholders with the values of those arguments.

So “{}, have a great day”.format(‘Vincent’), becomes, ”Vincent, have a great day”.

Does that make sense? If not, let me know.

Great question.

Thank You! I get it now.
