Python Write Better Python Cleaner Code Function and Class Whitespace

what does this code really want. how can you identify these white spaces.

I figured I would take a stab at this.

So white spaces are detected behind the scenes. You can remove them in several different ways.

x.strip() will remove leading and trailing white spaces. This is typically what is required. There are a few other things like if you know only the left side will have spaces you can do x.lstrip() etc.

So if removing the white space is what you want or need. Try taking arg1 and keeping it's original form, copy it and strip it.

argStripped = arg1.strip()

then return argStripped. Or you can do a return arg1.Strip().
