what going wrong with my code..

is it System.exit(0); need here...

Conditional.java 
int numberOfPeople = 3;
if (numberOfPeople < 4) {
  console.printf(“Your table is ready”);
  System.exit(0);
}

Hi there,

I'm not sure why but the compiler is not liking your inverted commas. It isn't interpreting them as normal " characters, for some reason. They seem to be stylised characters so perhaps use a standard version? What keyboard settings have you got set?

Your code is:

  console.printf(“Your table is ready”);

which doesn't work but this:

  console.printf("Your table is ready");

works fine. Very strange!
