What kind of developer should I be based on my need to get user input and analyze them in a database?

I went through some of the courses and I am very impressed. I have been a member for almost three months now and I am much better at web design than I have ever been. However, there is a theme or a void so far that I have not been able to address. I am only halfway through the front-end developer and PHP track and feel like this issue is missing. Maybe I will visit it later in the course.

The issue is user input to database. I want to be able to get user input from the user and have it stored in a database (like SQL) and be able to analyze it. Am I in the wrong track? Should I go to another track like FULL STACK JAVASCRIPT? Is there a database management system embedded in the server that I can access user inputs?

I believe that this a critical component of web development since data input helps us to change our view of our websites and make critical changes to meet the demands of the user.

I hope that this discussion leads to good answers since most newbies will get excited about certain tracks based on your recommendations.
