What path to take as a programmer

I am a beginner programmer. I've been learning java for some time and I love programming. But I don't know what I want to be really, all this talk about front-end, back-end developers, data scientists, etc. is confusing

I would just like a list of paths I could take or what I could use different programming languages for so I can have an idea or where I want to be headed
