I'm curious about what types of IDEs that people use. I use PyCharm, and sometimes Eclipse for Python. I am very interested in hearing about what other IDEs and for what language that you use it for, and whether or not its Open Source or paid.

24,904 PointsFor Python, I use the built in Python IDLE. For Java, I use Eclipse. For HTML, CSS, and javascript, I use Notepad++. For PHP, I use Sublime Text 3.

23,973 PointsNotepad++ and Sublime Text are more text editors, and IDLE is 'ok'. Looking for more of an IDE like eclipse. I used Eclipse for Python as well, it's not bad. Thanks.

9,165 PointsDepending on what I'm working on, I like to use Visual Studio Code for most of my coding. I'm primarily a Java developer, so at work, I generally use Intelli-J, the community edition.

23,973 PointsThanks, WebStorm looks pretty good. Just not willing to pay JetBrains any money. Thanks for the comment. That being said, I use the Community Edition of PyCharm, which I do like very much.
