When doing tasks and you get stuck

You can ask in the forums or check if it has been asked before to get some help on how to go about it. I think you can bypass an unsolved challenge, but it won't be marked as completed and you won't get points from it.

I know what you mean. That one question that keeps throwing the bummer no matter how much you try completing it. Been there! But again, I believe it's good that the answers are just not readily available. If they were then the learning process itself would have taken a back seat and it would be all about accumulating points. The gamification is just an aid to keep you motivated and not the goal itself. The fact that you know the answer is not just available at your disposal makes you think out of the box and look for solutions, something that prepares you when you get down with some serious programming.

But yes, as Gloria mentioned you can always get back to the forum, where there is always someone ready to help and with a quick response time mostly. Skip i you can't get it working. Move on and come back later;
