Python Write Better Python Cleaner Code Function and Class Whitespace

where am i getting it wrong

Add the correct amount of whitespace between the functions, between the functions and the class, and before the class method.

starter.py 
def first_function(arg1):
    return 'arg1 is {}'.format(arg1)

def second_function(arg1):
    return 'arg1 is {}'.format(arg1)

class MyClass:
    args = [1, 2, 3]

    def class_func(self):
        return self.args

You need two line spaces between the function definitions and two line spaces between the function and class. Then one space between class and args; one space between args and the next function. Then one blank line at the end. Make sure all your blank lines don't have any whitespace, aka, hit backspace until the cursor is at the very beginning of the line. Should look like this:

def first_function(arg1):
    return 'arg1 is {}'.format(arg1)


def second_function(arg1):
    return 'arg1 is {}'.format(arg1)


class MyClass:

    args = [1, 2, 3]

    def class_func(self):
        return self.args

make it look like above: then put cursor at end of line and left click and pull mouse to right to highlite white space - when highlighted, hit your delete key

after last line, hit enter key - then check for whitespace on bottom line and delete it
