Python

Why aren't we using __init__?

Hi guys,

Just had a thought; why aren't we using init when defining classes in this module?

Is that because we are using peewee, and we inheret the functionality by definig the class of type (Model)?

FYI I'm on the 'Using Databases in Python' course if that isn't being included in my question.

Thanks

Hey Luke Annison, you are correct! The new class inherents everything it needs from the peewee Model class. Only local customization is needed to select the fields.

You can use dir(Model) to see all that is included with the inheritance.

Post back if you need more help. Good luck!!!
