Why does code challenge say Flex-direction: column; is not the correct property and value to make a multi-line layout?

I thought this was correct. What am I doing wrong?

style.css
/* Complete the challenge by writing CSS below */
.row {
  display: flex;
  flex-direction: column;
}
index.html
<!DOCTYPE html>
<html>
<head>
  <title>Flexbox Layout</title>
  <link href='https://fonts.googleapis.com/css?family=Varela+Round' rel='stylesheet' type='text/css'>
  <link rel="stylesheet" href="page.css">
  <link rel="stylesheet" href="style.css">
</head>
<body>
  <div class="row">
    <div class="item">Item 1</div>
    <div class="item">Item 2</div>
    <div class="item">Item 3</div>
    <div class="item">Item 4</div>
    <div class="item">Item 5</div>
    <div class="item">Item 6</div>
  </div>
</body>
</html>

:point_right: The property that fits the description is flex-wrap.

I'll bet you can determine the correct value to go with it.
