Why doesn't it work?

Delete .secondary-content {clear: both;} in your css and try to add class="group " to your <div class="secondary-content t-border"> in HTML. It should be like <div class="secondary-content t-border group">. Dont worry to much about this float. This is a very complicated method to clear float. Later you will learn flex box which is similar to float but more modern way to use, and it is much easier to use and understand. Learn flex box well cause it helps a lot.

make sure you'll be using the word group otherwise it won't work silly isn't it?
