In reading the docs, this is how this should be. Tried removing whitespace, retyping, no luck. Any help is appreciated!

According to the pluralize
docs:
For words that donβt pluralize by simple suffix, you can specify both a singular and plural suffix, separated by a comma.
In your case, you've separated by a space and a comma.
