259 PointsWhy was angular removed from the FS techdegree?
Just noticed this today. Now it's just all react. Was just curious as to the reasons why.

We moved from Angular to React for a few reasons:
- React is becoming increasingly popular and a common skill listed on job postings
- React's a bit easier to learn -- or, at least, it's less complex than Angular, which is a full framework with a lot of features.
- We have more React courses and workshops than we have Angular, so we felt we could provide more information and better support in the Techdegree with React.
Angular is still very popular, especially among large corporations, so it doesn't hurt to learn it as well. However, we didn't want to throw two frontend JS toolsets at our students :)

Treehouse TeacherHi jrs0801
You're not blind :) Redux is not a requirement for the Full Stack JavaScript Techdegree. We do have a Redux course Building Applications with React and Redux that everyone is free to take, but it's not a requirement for the Techdegree or for the React project in the Techdegree.
