Will the sql courses be helpful while learning mysql ?

just curious seems since this seems to be the closest thing on treehouse?

While the unique parts of MySQL may not be covered, most of SQL is common to all database engines. So particularly if you're learning SQL for the first time, most of the SQL instruction would apply.
