Java Java Basics Getting Started with Java Strings and Variables

Windows OS, within Treehouse's Workspace environment, error with escape clause \n

When I attempt to include an escape clause of \n, it appears in the console as the Yen symbol. Is anyone else experiencing this issue?

Replace it with %n.

Windows uses \r\n which is carriage return, line feed, but %n will do the right thing no matter where you are running it.

Sorry for the confusion!

Thanks Craig!
