You shouldn't need Linux, though Linux is awesome. You might try the Workspace again later, maybe they're still working on it?

You don't need Linux to use workspaces. I would try closing and re-opening the workspace. If that doesn't work, please describe the problem in more detail or contact support directly using help@teamtreehouse.com.
